Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies
What is the Theological Studies Certificate?
The Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies (GCTS) is a program of study designed for students who wish to achieve a basic introduction to the major theological disciplines. This program is
taught at the Masters level and requires a student to have finished their Bachelor’s degree. The GCTS is designed to be completed in two years part-time or one year full-time. Like the
other degree programs at Leland Seminary, courses are scheduled so that students who are working
full-time may pursue their studies without significantly compromising their employment and family
life.
Who should consider the GCTS?
The GCTS is ideal for lay persons that wish to better prepare themselves for ministry in the local church, complement professional careers, or to challenge themselves towards deeper intellectual and spiritual growth.
