Doctor of Ministry (DMin)

Leland Seminary is proud to host Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary Doctor of Ministry degree program.

Truett’s DMin degree connects missional passion to serious academic research in ministry practice. Seminars are kept small to allow for high quality discussion and deep spiritual relationships within cohorts and with faculty.

The DMIN program is built around four intensive Kingdom-oriented seminars along with an individually guided study (IGS) program that culminates in a project dissertation. The unique quality of the IG S allows students considerable flexibility in crafting research projects that fit their distinctive interests and context. Each seminar is led by two instructors – a professor and an experienced practitioner. The IGS is guided by supervisors chosen specifically for the interest of each student.

  • Leland Seminary is partnered with Baylor University’s Truett Seminary to host their

nationally recognized Doctor of Ministry program. Truett’s Kingdom-focused seminars

are designed to empower ministry leaders to consider afresh their calling to – and potential in – ministry through deep biblical, theological, pastoral and intentional spiritual formation.

  • Leland Seminary’s accredited and transformative Masters Programs include a Master of Divinity degree, a Master of Theological Studies degree, and a Master of Christian Leadership degree.

  • All of Leland’s degree programs, Graduate Certificate programs and School of Ministry programs are economically priced to accommodate its students and most are eligible for financial assistance.

The DMIN includes both online and in-person classes at Leland’s Arlington campus.
