About:

I grew up in Atlanta where I had a profound conversion experience at the age of 17, subsequent to which I studied Biblical Studies and Philosophy at Wheaton College, and then earned my Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. During my undergraduate studies God initially indicated to me that I was called to the nations to preach the Gospel in an evangelistic capacity, but later clearly added to this church-planting, pastoral work and teaching in both church and academic contexts. Accordingly, among other various engagements in ministry in my first years after seminary, I enjoyed two 2-month ministry trips to India, doing evangelism, preaching, and teaching in a seminary. After this I was called to long-term work in Turkey where I spent 14 years in church-planting, pastoral work, evangelism and teaching. I also have taught bible classes, preached and ministered in other capacities in various churches in the United States.
